Dear Alexandria Kids,
On behalf of Kids Helping Kids, Inc., we are asking for your participation in the 17th Annual Lemonaide Day and our efforts to raise money for children’s charities here in Alexandria. Will you and your friends host a lemonade stand on Saturday, May 18th, to help raise money for organizations devoted to improving the lives of kids in our city?
Kids Helping Kids is an organization started by Alexandria kids in 2002 that sponsors a city-wide event called Lemonaide Day, which will take place in 2019 on Saturday, May 18th. On that day, kids throughout Alexandria will set up lemonade stands to raise money to help other Alexandria kids.
Since 2002, Kids Helping Kids has raised over $195,000 for a variety of children’s charities in Alexandria! The funds that we raise this year will be donated to Alexandria non-profits that help kids.
If you would like to host a stand, please complete a host sign up form by May 1st, 2019. We will send you a confirmation letter with further instructions at the beginning of May!
To those of you who have hosted a lemonaide stand for Kids Helping Kids in the past, THANK YOU! And to those of you who have never hosted before, we welcome you! We hope we can count on all of you to participate this year to help us reach our goal of raising over $15,000! If you would like to learn more about Kids Helping Kids and Lemonaide, please contact Annie Tuttle at email@example.com or by phone at (703) 549-9693.
